Roy and Wife Ali moved to Breedon in 2015, prior to that they lived in Woodville.

Roy was educated at Ashby Grammar School and Manchester University.

He worked as an Optometrist in his own Private Practices in Burton upon Trent and Swadlincote, and also worked for 30+ years in hospital outpatient clinics in Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth. He retired in 2019.

He loves all types of sport but particularly playing Golf and Tennis.

Roy invested much of his time during his 1^st term on the Parish Council in the preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan for Breedon Parish, and the planning and development of the new Village Hall. He is now looking forward to both of these projects coming to fruition in the near future.
