Sandbags
Sandbags are of limited use during a flood and residents at flood risk should be encouraged to purchase purpose-designed flood protection equipment to help protect their home. Local Authorities DO NOT have a statutory duty to provide residents with sandbags to protect their properties. The Council will, however, assist where possible, with priority given to vulnerable residents on: 01530 454545 or Out of hours 01530 454789
To arrange collection:
Collection: Linden Way depot off Ashby Road in Coalville (postcode LE67 3JY) - between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays and weekends). (Please note that staff will not be able to load sandbags into vehicles)
Please pass this on to your neighbours and those who may need it.
